Specification
  • Type of Formulation : Liquid Biostimulant Adjuvant
  • How it Works : Physical, Non-Chemical
  • Active Base : Polysiloxane Surfactant Blend
  • Compatibility : Can be used with most insecticides, fungicides, micronutrients, and foliar fertilizers
  • Physical State : Stinky clear liquid
  • Solublity : Soluble in water completely
  • Residue : Zero chemical residue
  • pH (1% Solution) : Neutral
Benefits
  • Maximizes the performance of foliar micronutrients and crop-protection products by increasing their spread and adherence.
  • Acts as a non-chemical biostimulant by forming a physical barrier that hinders pastepots such as aphids, whiteflies and thrips, without the use of pesticides though not harm to beneficial insects.
  • No chemical residue due to which it is in high demand for export crops such as pomegranate, grapes and vegetables.
  • Improves nutrient uptake by the plant by reducing the surface tension of the spray, helping it spread more evenly on the leaf.
  • Strengthens the whole plant by aiding other inputs applied to it, so that the plant has greater growth and is better equipped to withstand stress.
  • Helps reduce the amount of product washed off by rainfall or irrigation thereby increasing the persistence of the foliar application.
  • Can be used in IPM (integrated pest management) and organic farming programs.
Application
  • Foliar Spray :
Apply Siltac Platinum at 0.2 to 0.3 ml per liter of spray along with micronutrient or pesticide applications. Distribute evenly over the plant foliage.
  • Recommended Combinations :
Effective when mixed with micronutrients (zinc, iron, boron, etc.), insecticides, fungicides, and biostimulants to improve overall results.
  • Frequency :
Spray as part of crop protection calendar or when foliar feeding is done. Particularly recommended to be used at time of pest explosion or rectification of nutrients.
Time
  • Ideally suitable for all active Foliar Spray scheduling's – Veg, pre-Flower & Fruit.
  • Spray Siltac Platinum during the cooler parts of the day to avoid product evaporation and increase effectiveness.
Precaution
  • Soil will not be able to completely release Star cover within the first season; however, be certain to perform a jar test when using with new crop inputs.
  • Do not take Siltac Platinum more than directed.
  • Don't spray in high winds or with the bright midday sun.
